The new offerings, informed by market research and valuable feedback from guests and travel partners, are highlighted by an expanded Caribbean presence with new seven-night and overnight itineraries; new Spain and Portugal itineraries in Europe; and an exciting new homeport and new shorter itineraries in South America.

The new sailings further complement Celebrity’s award-winning itineraries, curated to feature the world’s most beautiful places and create memories that last long after each destination has sailed out of view.

And, because vacations should be effortless from the start, Wi-Fi, drinks and tips are now ‘Always IncludedSM’ on every Celebrity cruise, simplifying the luxury vacation experience.

The Caribbean

Eight of Celebrity’s award-winning ships will sail the sun-drenched tropics, including its newest Edge Series ships, Celebrity Edge and brand-new sister ship Celebrity Apex – known for being destinations in their own right. Altogether, from November 2021 through April 2022, these Celebrity ships offer a variety of exciting itineraries from shorter escapes that are perfect for romantic getaways to more immersive sailings that allow extra time to unwind in paradise and enjoy Celebrity’s luxurious ships.

- Celebrity Edge will offer a full winter season of seven-night Caribbean itineraries to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

- Another “revolutionized” ship, Celebrity Summit, will replace Celebrity Infinity to sail four- and five-night itineraries from Miami plus two new Mexico holiday sailings in December, 2021.

Europe

Celebrity Infinity will offer new ways to experience the beauty of Europe next Autumn, by extending its season into October and November.

- The award-winning Celebrity Infinity sails the Mediterranean from the home port of Lisbon, Portugal and adds a new 10-night "Best of Spain and Portugal" and two new seven-night Iberian Peninsula sailings visiting such beautiful coastal destinations as Palma de Mallorca, Seville, Alicante and Malaga in Spain; and Porto, Portugal. She then embarks on her new 12-night transatlantic from Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, visiting ports of call in Spain and the Canary Islands.

South America

Beginning in December 2021 and through March 2022, Celebrity Infinity will explore the exciting continent of South America from the towering Fjords of Chile to the tropical beaches and rain forests of Brazil to the tip of Antarctica. With a new homeport, Valparaiso, Chile, known as “Little San Francisco” for its rich theater, music and street art scene, the all-new schedule features:

- Four new nine- to 12-night itineraries calling on ports throughout the stunning landscapes of Argentina and Patagonia, or the exciting cityscapes found in Argentina and Brazil.

- One new 14-night sailing to the ever-popular, bucket-list destination of Antarctica, for a total of three sailings to a part of the world revered by history’s greatest explorers.

Windstar Cruises Offers New Promotion to Islands of Tahiti

As if we needed more reasons to dream of a vacation in paradise right now, the small ship line’s popular air+hotel+cruise bundle now includes FREE DRINKS

As if we needed more reasons to dream of a vacation in paradise right now, the small ship line’s popular air+hotel+cruise bundle now includes FREE DRINKS

SEATTLE, WA, November 16, 2020 – When Seattle-based small ship cruise line Windstar Cruises begins sailing again, the first destination it plans to resume operations is the storied Islands of Tahiti. And where better to forget the chaos and stress of daily life than on a small ship that glides into bays other cruise ships can’t reach, dropping anchor at some of the earth's most beautiful islands like Bora Bora and Moorea?

Windstar offers a convenient Air + Hotel package from Los Angeles International Airport that includes the round trip flight from Los Angeles, pre-cruise accommodations and a post-cruise day room, ground transfers in Tahiti, and a seven-, 10- or 11-night boutique cruise in Tahiti. Now on cruise vacations including air and hotel booked through the end of this year, guests will also receive the promise of a free beverage package (with unlimited select spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and minibar items), guaranteeing an extra Mai Tai or three beneath a palm tree.

If guests don’t imbibe, they can alternately choose $300 in shipboard credit to put towards other experiences, like a relaxing onboard spa treatment or shore excursions such as SCUBA diving, reef snorkeling, or even harvesting Tahitian black pearls. Guests choosing to book only the cruise still receive a $100 shipboard credit.

“We expect Tahiti to be one of our first sailing destinations for our return to cruising in 2021,” said Chris Prelog, president of Windstar Cruises. “I can’t think of a better place to go after this year of reduced travel, and in fact, I plan to go with my family. We hope this promotion spurs you to make plans to reunite with friends and family on vacation.”

Windstar typically sails year-round in Tahiti, where cruises take place on Wind Spirit, a 148-guest motorized sailing ship that was specifically designed for the region and capturing the South Pacific trade winds in its billowing sails. In 2021, Windstar’s Wind Spirit will travel from Tahiti to Asia (stopping at some of the smallest island nations on the planet along the route). Starting in November, the 312-guest Star Breeze will take over cruises in Tahiti for a limited engagement (through March of 2022), giving guests a unique chance to sail on the larger, all-suite, newly renovated yacht in this destination.

Windstar offers a complimentary private event on all of their Tahiti cruises: a private beach party and locally sourced feast on one of Bora Bora’s tiny motus, followed by a kinetic fire-dancing performance.

Windstar plans to return to Tahiti when it is deemed safe, and is currently offering cruise dates starting in late March of 2021. However, should things change, Windstar’s flexible Travel Assurance Booking Policy allows for canceling 2021 cruises up to 48 hours prior to departure. Also, Windstar remains in close contact with Tahiti Tourism Officials and works to ensure guests are aware of and compliant with all travel restrictions. Windstar has announced a new Beyond Ordinary Care program, which is a multi-layered strategy with key hospital-grade elements: HEPA filters and UV-C ultraviolet germicidal irradiation to filter and disinfect the air, plus electrostatic sprayers to sanitize all surfaces throughout the yacht, among a suite of planned operational changes when the line begins sailing again.

aboard Silversea’s newest ship, Silver Moon.

(Monaco – November 16, 2020) After taking delivery of the new ship from Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy, on Friday October 30, 2020, Silversea Cruises today unveils the first glimpses of Silver Moon’s interiors—the ninth ship in the cruise line’s ultra-luxury fleet. Barbara Muckermann, Silversea’s Chief Marketing Officer, hosts a series of five virtual ship tours, in which viewers are guided through Silver Moon’s new S.A.L.T. venues, public spaces, restaurants, and suites.

“Taking delivery of our beautiful new Silver Moon was a very proud moment for our cruise line,” says Muckermann. “The ship represents the pinnacle of ultra-luxury travel in the 21st century, and we have made many innovative enhancements from her sister ship, Silver Muse, for the enjoyment of our guests. From our new S.A.L.T. ecosystem, which will enable travelers to delve deeper into destinations through the lens of food and drink, to the enriched public spaces, the enhancements aboard Silver Moon symbolize a refinement of Silversea’s already ultra-luxury cruise experience. We cannot wait to welcome our guests aboard this beauty in the near future.”

1. INTRODUCTION

Stood before Silver Moon, Muckermann begins with a preamble, introducing the ship’s key features and welcoming viewers to Fincantieri’s shipyard in Ancona. At 40,700 GRT and 212.8m in length, and with many pioneering features that discern the ship from sister ship Silver Muse, Silver Moon epitomizes 21st-century luxury travel.

As part of the S.A.L.T. program, three new venues will unlock immersive culinary experiences for guests, forming a hub of culinary discovery on Deck 4: among the largest of eight restaurants aboard Silver Moon, S.A.L.T. Kitchen is the first large-scale regional restaurant aboard a luxury cruise ship, offering a menu that changes with the destination and a regionally inspired wine list; S.A.L.T. Lab is a test kitchen that enables guests to learn about local ingredients and artisanal techniques, through insightful workshops, tastings, and demonstrations; and S.A.L.T. Bar allows guests to sample the most authentic flavors of the destination, through a large selection of regional wines, spirits, and other drinks.

Moreover, the Arts Café, the Panorama Lounge, the Observation Library, the Venetian Lounge, and the Casino will each welcome guests with atmospheres of whispered luxury.

Oceania Cruises Sets Booking Record With 2022 Summer Season Launch

Pent-Up Consumer Demand for Europe and Alaska Cruises Fuels Growth in Bookings

Pent-Up Consumer Demand for Europe and Alaska Cruises Fuels Growth in Bookings

Miami, FL, November 13, 2020 – Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line announced that the launch of its 2022 Europe & North America Collection of voyages resulted in a record-setting day for a summer season launch. The record day represented a more than 20% increase over the line’s 2021 Europe & North America season launch, which occurred in August 2019.

Cruises to the Mediterranean and Baltic regions were exceptionally strong performers as were the line’s longer “Grand Voyages” that span multiple weeks and, in many instances, multiple continents. More than 90% of the reservations were new, cash bookings with less than 10% using future cruise credits issued for previously canceled voyages. Additionally, one-third of the reservations were from first-time, new-to-brand guests.

“The tremendous response from our loyal repeat guests, our travel partners, and first-time guests underscores the tremendous pent-up demand for immersive, destination-focused cruises and our acclaimed small-ship experience that features The Finest Cuisine at Sea,” stated Bob Binder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oceania Cruises.

With the strong demand for voyages in 2022, the line will be opening its 2023 Around the World voyage for reservations in January 2021 followed by the full season of 2022-23 winter collection of itineraries in February. In the summer of 2021, the line will open the inaugural season of the first of its highly anticipated Allura Class newbuilds for sale.

Royal Caribbean Doubles Up on Adventure With 2022 Alaska Deployment

The Cruise Line Pairs Bold Ships with More Ports of Call for an Unrivaled Experience in the Last Frontier

The Cruise Line Pairs Bold Ships with More Ports of Call for an Unrivaled Experience in the Last Frontier

MIAMI, Nov. 10, 2020 – Royal Caribbean International is gearing up for its most adventure-packed Alaska season in summer 2022, introducing new itineraries that tout four ports of call and others that showcase twice the glaciers. With a variety of destinations and four unforgettable cruise ships to choose from, including two of the most innovative in the region – Ovation, Quantum, Radiance and Serenade of the Seas – thrill seekers can experience the breadth of Alaskan nature and culture. The diverse beauty of America’s last frontier will come to life in the culturally rich towns of Haines and Sitka, Seward’s wild natural beauty, and the majestic vistas of the Inside Passage and Hubbard Glacier.

Informed by guest feedback, travel advisors and local partners, the robust vacation offering will be part of a longer summer program, offering 7-night cruise vacations departing from Seattle; Seward, Alaska; and Vancouver, British Columbia. Royal Caribbean’s 2022 Alaska cruises open for bookings on Wednesday, Nov. 11; Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members are able to book today.

Quantum Class Goes Bolder & Bigger in Alaska

Ovation of the Seas – the first of the cruise line’s game-changing Quantum Class to sail the Last Frontier – will be joined by sister ship Quantum of the Seas to sail 7-night roundtrip itineraries from Seattle. The Quantum Class ships will bring guests to more scenic cities and towns along the Northwest coastline, including Victoria, British Columbia; Sitka, Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, Alaska. Travelers will feel a warm welcome in picturesque towns, where native tradition and original Russian architecture are folded into daily Alaskan life, and the awe of the region’s lush landscape, wildlife-filled fjords and gigantic glaciers like the 30-mile-long Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier – best viewed from the North Star, a glass observation capsule unique to Quantum Class that rises 300 feet above sea level.

The adrenaline rush will continue with onboard activities, including a collection of indoor and outdoor pools, the FlowRider surf simulator, RipCord by iFly indoor skydiving experience, and SeaPlex, the largest and most revolutionary indoor active space at sea. When vacationers need a break, they can enjoy Two70, a cutting-edge and transformative venue that offers 270-degree views of the ocean by day and transforms into an unparalleled theater by night with the help of the cruise line’s signature Roboscreens – a troupe of six agile screens that fuse performance art and technology for immersive, live theatrical productions.

Radiance Class Dazzles with Views

A popular choice among vacationers for their ocean-facing glass elevators and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking viewstwo Radiance Class ships will return to the region to round out the summer season. Radiance and Serenade of the Seas will further expand Royal Caribbean’s reach with a fresh take on 7-night itineraries anchored by visits to Haines, Sitka, Ketchikan, Juneau and Seward, Alaska.

Sailing alternating, open-jaw itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, Radiance will introduce a second northbound itinerary that includes a visit to Icy Strait Point – a port owned and operated by native Alaskans – celebrated for its genuine native Tlingit hospitality, diverse landscape and active wildlife. Southbound sailings will introduce an evening call to Haines, among the Inside Passage’s most scenic towns and home to a thriving arts community. Paired with a day spent in Skagway, guests can take advantage of the long, summer daylight hours in the state’s adventure capital that is located along the continent’s longest and deepest fjord.

Sister ship Serenade, departing roundtrip from Vancouver, will similarly hero Haines with a full-day visit to the destination known for whitewater rafting and spotting the North American brown bear. Guests can also enjoy twice the ice with an itinerary that features both the Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, and the Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in North America.

Guests on board Serenade can extend their stay with Royal Caribbean’s signature CruiseTours, a series of 2- to 6-night pre- or post-cruise land tours led by local experts. Travelers can witness the notorious American Brown Bear hunting as part of the Katmai Bear Trek, or learn more about “The Last Great Race” and the team of sled dogs on the Family Tundra Express experience. Royal Caribbean also offers 5- to 6-night Canada CruiseTour options with visits to Banff, Calgary and more.

Starting Tuesday, Nov. 17th, every Celebrity Cruises vacation will include Wi-Fi, drinks and tips, simplifying the luxury vacation experience.

“Everything we do at Celebrity is driven by the desire to redefine what today’s luxury looks and feels like, with experiences modern travelers want. With the launch of our Edge Series ships, Celebrity Edge and her brand-new sister ship Celebrity Apex, we tapped into a powerful ‘New Luxury’ culture - relevant, relaxed, design-focused and inclusive,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises. “Today, nothing is more luxurious than when things are extra simple and extra special. “After this challenging year, ease and peace of mind have become even more invaluable commodities,” said Peter Giorgi, vice president and chief marketing officer of Celebrity Cruises. “People want to spend more time being inspired, not getting lost in a myriad of booking options. Our new ‘Always Included’ approach makes the purchase process simple and incredible – one decision and the wonder of a Celebrity cruise awaits.”

“Always Included” becomes the new standard rate for the luxurious experience offered on Celebrity’s award-winning ships and includes:

“Always Included” is the latest in a series of innovations available on Celebrity ships, including the recent transformation of the traditional cruise industry safety drill into a more personal digital experience, called Muster 2.0, that can be accessed by guests from any smart device or on a stateroom TV and completed at the guest’s leisure prior to the ship’s departure, providing more time to relax and ease into a wonderful getaway.

“Always Included” is available for all new bookings on any of Celebrity’s cruise offerings, excluding Galapagos vacations. As part of its new approach, Celebrity has also re-invented its loyalty program to offer Captain’s Club members new perks and special onboard experiences.

MSC Cruises Temporarily Suspends Sailings of MSC Magnifica, Extends MSC Grandiosa’s Western Mediterranean Itineraries Into 2021

Due to the introduction of significant restrictions of movement, in particular in France and Germany, two of MSC Magnifica’s key source markets, MSC Cruises will temporarily suspend further sailings of MSC Magnifica from November 8 through to December 18, 2020

  • Due to the introduction of significant restrictions of movement, in particular in France and Germany, two of MSC Magnifica’s key source markets, MSC Cruises will temporarily suspend further sailings of MSC Magnifica from November 8 through to December 18, 2020

  • MSC Grandiosa will meanwhile continue and extend her current sailings in the Western Mediterranean through to March 2021 with additional rigorous measures under the Company’s existing health and safety operating protocol

  • The MSC 2021 World Cruise has also been cancelled due to many ports along her itinerary still being unavailable due to the pandemic

  • Upon her return to sailing after temporary pause MSC Magnifica will continue to perform her current itinerary through to April 2021

Geneva, Switzerland (November 4, 2020) – MSC Cruises announced today that given the prevailing pandemic situation in France and Germany with significant travel restrictions affecting guests from these markets, it will be temporarily suspending further sailings of MSC Magnifica. The temporary suspension will affect sailings from November 8 through to and including December 18, 2020. France and Germany are two key source markets for the ship’s 10-night voyages across the Eastern and Western Mediterranean calling destinations in Italy, Greece and Malta.

Meanwhile, MSC Grandiosa will continue and extend her current sailings into next year. The Company’s flagship will perform her current 7-night itinerary in the Western Mediterranean with embarkation in Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo, Italy as well as calling Valetta, Malta, until March 27, 2021.

Further to this, MSC Grandiosa will now see the application of newly activated measures under the MSC Cruises existing and comprehensive health and safety operating protocol, which include the following:

  • Additional onboard testing for all guests mid-way through their cruise (on top of the existing pre-boarding universal testing for all guests)

  • Increased testing of all crew during their time on board from twice-a-month to weekly (in addition to pre-boarding testing for all crew and other ongoing health monitoring measures)

  • Increased frequency of onboard sanitation, in particular of public areas and high touch points

  • Tightening of the definition of close contact for tracing purposes, reducing the time that individuals are in contact from 15 minutes to 10 minutes

The MSC Cruises health and safety protocol was designed from the very beginning to be able to adapt to the evolution of the pandemic situation ashore to ensure the best protection possible for guests, crew and the communities the ships visit. The additional measures were activated over the past two weeks on board the Company’s two ships currently at sea for this reason.

In connection with the health situation ashore and in particular the continued unavailability of the majority of ports along the proposed itinerary, MSC Cruises has been forced to cancel its 2021 World Cruise, which was due to be performed by MSC Magnifica. Guests will be contacted separately with rescheduling options.

When MSC Magnifica resumes operation after her temporary pause, she will continue sailing from December 18, 2020 with her special one off 8-night Christmas cruise itinerary that week then return to her current 10-night itinerary across the Eastern and Western Mediterranean until the end of April 2021.
