Day 13 - At Sea Crossing The Atlantic

We got a late start this morning so Rickee wanted to try the biscuits and gravy on offer at The Eatery. Unfortunately, the biscuit and the gravy were cold, but the bacon was crisp and good.

We went out to the Promenade where Rickee decided a Bloody Mary from the Promenade Bar would be a better breakfast choice for her.

Once again, I visited Slice at Promenade (Deck 7 starboard) and can now confirm that this is the best pizza on Sun Princess. The pizza maker running the ovens is enthusiastic about his product and it is obvious that he LOVES pizza. It is not just a job for him, it is a passion. Just look at that crust!

Later in the day, we decided to try some of the offerings on Deck 17 poolside. Lido Tacos serves tacos and shwarma, Lido Grill offers burgers, dogs and fries, and Lido Slice offers yet another pizza option.

I decided to try the shwarma, which was just okay. Rickee tried a hot dog from Lido Grill and it, too, was cold and tasted like it had been sitting there all day.

The pizza at Lido Slice is different than what is offered at Alfredo’s or Promenade Slice. It is not nearly as good as Slice at Promenade, but still better than Alfredo’s, IMO.
