John and Sandra Nowlan are veteran travel, food and wine writers based in the port city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. They’ve visited all seven continents, more than 120 countries and have taken 60+ cruises. Before they discovered cruising John was an Emmy-winning TV Producer and Sandra was a food scientist (MSc., Cornell) and cookbook author.

Our fourteen day “Voyage du Vin” on Cunard’s Queen Victoria left Southampton and headed south towards some of the prime grape growing areas in Spain, Italy and France.
“The Great Lakes – Unsalted and Shark Free”. It was an effective bumper sticker but the publisher could have added, “Wonderful Cruising”.
