FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (September 3, 2020) — This Labor Day MSC Cruises USA is giving guests the opportunity to make the most out of a future 2021 Caribbean cruise vacation with added perks including shipboard credit, balcony staterooms at interior rates and kids sail free on select sailings.

From September 3 – September 17, 2020, cruisers can take advantage of the special Labor Day promotion and choose from any 3-, 4-, or 7-night 2021 cruise sailing to the Caribbean and The Bahamas aboard MSC Seaside, MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, or MSC Armonia. All guests booking through our Labor Day promotion will receive a shipboard credit of up to $300 per stateroom, based on length of the cruise and category of stateroom booked,* and families will benefit with a kids sail free offer on most sailings. In addition, to celebrate MSC Cruises’ new homeport, guests booking sailings on MSC Seaside or MSC Divina from Port Canaveral will qualify for a free balcony upgrade in which they get a balcony stateroom at an interior rate.

A unique feature of all itineraries that are part of the Labor Day sale is that all ships will call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC Cruises’ new private island destination in The Bahamas. Exclusive to MSC Cruises’ guests, the private island — located just 65 miles from Miami — is surrounded by 64 square miles of marine reserve, offering guests a unique opportunity to discover local marine life, soak up the spirit of Bahamian culture and reconnect with themselves and each other. With ships frequently docked at the island from early morning into the evening — and in many instances overnight — guests can spend a full day enjoying two miles of pristine beachfront across eight world class beaches with a wide selection of ocean discovery activities like deep-sea fishing, snorkeling adventures, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking.

“We’ve seen strong interest in 2021 Caribbean sailings as guests are looking forward to future vacations with their family and getting back to sea. With MSC Cruises’ Labor Day sale, guests can plan their next vacation — with a choice of four distinct cruise ships sailing the Caribbean in 2021 — and benefit from added value, including shipboard credits that can be spent on the onboard perks of their choice,” said Ken Muskat, EVP and chief operating officer of MSC Cruises USA. “In addition to a great offer, our guests have expressed that flexibility is also extremely important to them as they book their next vacation. With the recent launch of Total CruiseFlex, our guests can feel confident that if for any reason they need to cancel and move their booked cruise to a different ship or sail date they can easily make the change up to 48 hours before their cruise.”

MSC Voyagers Club 5% + 5% Exclusive Promotion

On top of the Labor Day promotion, members of MSC Voyagers Club loyalty program benefit even further with an exclusive promotion that allows them to get an additional 5% discount on top of the 5% discount they automatically receive on all cruise bookings, plus up to $100 onboard credit per member, based on their membership level. Cruise with Confidence

The health and safety of MSC Cruises’ guests and crew is the Company’s top priority, and therefore, in collaboration with relevant health authorities and with the support of external medical experts, MSC Cruises has developed a new, comprehensive health and safety protocol that covers all aspects of the cruise experience from the booking phase, embarkation and all aspects of life on board to disembarkation and the return home. The new protocol, in its current form, currently applies to MSC Grandiosa which returned to service this August in the Mediterranean. MSC Cruises will continue to review and update the protocol to align with developments of the health situation ashore, always prioritizing the well-being of its guests and crew. In the U.S., MSC Cruises will only restart operations when the time is right, following approval by the CDC and other relevant authorities across the region in observance of their requirements and guidelines.

MSC Cruises has also launched Total CruiseFlex, a new flexibility program allowing guests the opportunity to move their booked cruise to any ship and any sail date up to 48 hours before their cruise. With the new program, guests can book the Labor Day sale and plan their MSC Cruises’ vacation now without worrying if they need to change their plans. Total CruiseFlex applies to any new bookings made between August 5 and October 31, 2020, on any sailing departing between November 1, 2020 and December 31, 2021.
